General Questions

  • How do I find information on draws and results?
    To see draws and results for all competitions, leagues and tournaments run at the TWHCNC, please go to the home page and click on Fixtures & Results image box.
  • When does the netball centre cancel netball?
    In the event of extremely cold, wet weather (at the discretion of the centre manager), netball tournaments/competitions will be cancelled at midday on the day of play or immediately, in the occurrence of thunder and lightning.
  • What happens if it is raining on a game day?
    If it is raining on game day, please check our Facebook page and/or your emails for news. There will be a Facebook status update and an email sent to coaches around midday in the event of cancellation.
  • Where do I find newsletters and articles on your website?
    For the latest newsletter and article, please click on Latest News tab at the top of the home page. For more articles and newsletters, please roll your mouse over Latest News tab and select from the drop down.
  • What is the standard of behavior expected when visiting the netball centre?
    The Trust Waikato Hamilton City Netball Centre Code of Conduct outlines the standard of behavior expected from players, coaches, umpires and parents/spectators at the centre. To view the Code of Conduct, please click on the Policies, Procedures & By-Laws tab which is found at the top of the home page tab.
  • Is there food available to purchase at the netball centre?
    During game days and tournaments, the canteen is open to purchase a range of bakery style foods.
  • How do I find information on coaching?
    For more information on coaching, including coaching modules we have booked in and the Netball New Zealand Coaching Pathway, please go to the home page and click on the Coaches image box.
  • How do I find information on umpiring?
    For more information on umpiring, including umpiring modules we have booked in and the Netball New Zealand Umpire Pathway, please go to the home page and click on the Umpires image box.
  • How many Holiday Programmes do you run per year?
    The TWHCNC usually run two Holiday Programmes each year; one in the April school holidays and one in the July school holidays. To find out more, please go to the home page and click on the Holiday Programmes image box.
  • Where can I find photos from a tournament my team attended?
    Photos are often taken during competitions, leagues and at tournaments run by the TWHCNC. Photos are uploaded to the website Gallery which is found by clicking on the Gallery tab at the top of the home page.
  • When can I call the netball centre?
    The office hours are 9.30am - 2.30pm. If you call outside these hours, you may reach the answerphone. Please leave your name, number and a brief message so we can make contact with you.
